Camping Vs Staying in a Hotel
Disney land, vast beautiful lakes, mysterious and exciting forests! When people travel and go on vacations they tend to focus on the destination and not where they stay on the way. People also have different preferences on the conditions of their stay. Camping or staying in a hotel can be equally fun, depending on your personality.
Camping benefits in places were people are planning to be outside in a less populated area, woodlands, lake areas, and other non-populated environments. When camping, you stay in tents that you must know how to set up and have a legal campsite that is sufficient for what you are planning to accomplish. If you want to fish, canoe, kayak, or swim you need a campsite that is near clean water that Is legal to fish, swim and boat in. or if you just want to camp you need a safe fire pit, enough food and supplies to cook it with. You should also research the animals that live in the area; if bears, coyotes and wolves are known to live nearby you should store your food in a tree a short distance from your camp. This will not only keep it out of the animals reach but if they do smell it they will not walk directly into you camp. Camping can also be used for extra bedrooms. If a lot of relatives come over to visit, the younger people can camp in the back yard to create more beds for the older family members.
When planning to stay in a city, town or densely populated area your best choice would be a hotel. Hotels are fixed toward people who need/enjoy having everything they need ready so they can always be able to leave at a moments notice for jobs and conventions. People also choose hotels because when traveling, it is convenient to check in late at night or stay the week on a vacation. While staying in a hotel your beds are made for you, toiletries are provided and sometimes you are given a television and wireless internet connection. You can also order room service to deliver food and other small supplies. With all of these things it is likely you will have a relaxed non- stressful stay.
The downside to hotels is the expense, rooming can be costly and not everyone can afford it. The downside of camping is that you must be knowledgeable of how to and like sleeping outside and the outdoors. While both have benefits, the choice that best suits your personality and vacation plan will be the better one to choose, other than that they are both equal.
